A very stylish antique William IV chair in rosewood dating from circa 1835. A good quality, solid chair with attractively carved bar back and top rail, it stands on carved front legs. It has a drop in seat which has been newly upholstered in a good quality grey fabric. In beautifully figured rosewood, solid and sturdy, would make a wonderful desk chair.

Good colour and patina. Solid and sturdy. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered. Would originally have been a caned seat. Missing a couple of small balls to tops of legs at back, feet would have terminated in balls.
