An attractive antique Victorian balloon back chair in walnut. It has a carved back with a heart shaped motiff to the top rail. Standing on shaped cabriole legs and with a stuffover seat which has been newly reupholstered in a cream brocade fabric. Warm patina, very solid and newly reupholstered. A decorative high quality chair dating from circa 1880, would make a beautiful dressing table chair or desk chair.

Solid frame. Lovely age and patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered. Some old worm holes to the underneath of the seat rail which have been treated with worm killer as a precaution.
