This is a charming early 19th century tinsel picture in its original burr walnut frame dating from around 1830. These antique tinsel pictures depicting famous actors in plays of the time were popular in the early 19th century but are becoming increasingly hard to find now. This is a really good example and one of 18 of these we have recently acquired from a good collection.
This one measures by 37 cms by 33 cms including the frame.
