An elegant antique Victorian balloon back chair in Rosewood dating from circa 1860. With shaped carved centre rail and standing on elegantly turned legs. The frame is solid and sturdy. The seat appears to have been newly reupholstered in a light yellow upholstery. A very decorative chair that would make a great bedroom or dressing table chair.

Solid and sturdy with good original patina to the mahogany. Appears to have been newly reupholstered. With general wear and marks commensurate with age. Missing decorative mouldings to sides of seat rail at front. A well-executed old mend to the back leg near the bottom.
