Antique Victorian Mahogany & Leather Desk Chair
This is a very sturdy comfortable desk chair with loads of original character. It’s Victorian & dates from the 1880’s period. The leather which has a good original look, is deep buttoned on the seat & on the back. It’s in excellent condition with no damage & has a lovely warm colour. The frame is solid mahogany or possibly walnut with bold turned rails between the seat & the curved back. The front legs are also strong looking & turned the same as the back rail. It has the original brown porcelain casters. There are some incised floral carvings on the front of the arms. This is an extremely high quality chair & the leather which has been polished has that beautiful worn in look.
