Antique Victorian Carved & Cane Seated Armchair
An extremely beautiful Victorian armchair which I think is solid elm. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.
It is of amazing quality and has a stunning design. The frame is constructed of wonderfully turned sections and has incredible detail throughout. The seat is caned, which is a lovely additional feature.
This has been recently re-polished, it is in lovely condition for its age. There are various old marks and dings here and there, this has a characterful patina and plenty of charm.
