A really splendid and well executed figural inkwell in the form of a very handsome dog. Beautifully painted, he retains his two little glass eyes and sports a very smart red collar.

The hinged lid opens to reveal a small fitted ink chamber within.

English c.1890 and in excellent condition measuring 5 1/2" tall.
