A stunning and highly decorative fruit or cake basket made from silver plate English in origin and Victorian in era.

Beautifully shaped, the footed basket has the most exquisite engraved decoration and has a folding swing handle.

The underside has a full mark for Briddon Brothers of Sheffield. Dating to around 1880, this basket measures10 1/2" in diameter and stands 8 1/2" tall to top of handle while upright.
