This is a beautiful Saroukh carpet dating from around 1930. This quality handwoven room size carpet has a lovely soft handle and a good deep even pile. The carpet has a warm raspberry red field of plants and flowers enclosed by midnight blue borders of meandering vines. This is excellent craftsmanship in great ready to use condition.
The carpet is a very practical room size measuring 340 cms by 270 cms.
