A Victorian brooch made in 9ct gold which depicts a moon crescent and stars.
The quality brooch is decorated with complimenting ruby and natural pearls with two rubies set in stars.
The ruby stones have a rich translucent glow and are nicely complimented by the silvery pearls.
Gold pin is firm and slots neatly into a C type catch.
I can't see any hallmarks but the piece is tested for 9ct gold quality
Offered in excellent condition with beautiful stones.
