A magnificent antique Regency open armchair or desk chair in mahogany dating from circa 1810. The curved oblong top rail above a carved centre rail, with generous scroll arms, it stands on out-swept sabre legs to the front and back. The drop-in seat has been newly reupholstered. Would make a wonderful desk chair.

Condition Report:
Good condition. Solid and sturdy. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered. Some old worm holes underneath the seat rail which have treated with worm killer as a precaution.
