A handsome antique late Regency mahogany dining chair / desk chair dating from circa 1830. With an oblong top rail inlaid with ebony over a turned back splat with reeded supports. Featuring a newly recovered drop in seat on ring turned tapering front legs and sabre back legs. A lovely rich colour with a warm patina to the mahogany.

Good condition, solid and sturdy. Recently recovered, upholstery is sound. Wear and marks commensurate with age.
