A wonderful antique Regency gilt pier mirror dating from circa 1800. The concave breakfront pediment decorated with gilded balls, the frieze with applied scrolled anthemion relief. The rectangular bevelled mirror plate flanked by fluted column pilasters terminating in moulded capitals. The gilding has aged and oxidised over the years and shows lots of age and character, a very attractive mirror, that would add character and charm to any room.

Gesso, wood
Condition Report:
Gilding missing/chipped in places commensurate with age. Section of the pediment to top right is missing. Mirror plate old and showing some signs of foxing/loss of silvering in places.
