An antique Regency “Trafalgar” open armchair in mahogany dating from circa 1810. With rope twist centre rail, standing on square legs united by cross stretchers. The stuff-over seat has been recently recovered. Would make a wonderful desk chair.

Mahogany
Condition Report:
Some slight give to the frame. Warm patina to the mahogany. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Recently recovered over existing upholstery – would benefit reupholstery. Old mend to back foot (see photo) and cross stretcher. The chair is solid and sturdy but has a slight list to one side.
