This is an antique pier mirror. A Regency, giltwood wall mirror dating to the early 19th century, circa 1820.

Attractive mellow golden tones in the giltwood frame
A refined mirror, mid-sized with a good finish and desirable aged patina
Superb proportions in classical form

Twin Greco influenced columns with leaf cup mounts flank the later mirror plate
Rising to the shaped pediment with beaded breakfront upper frieze
Horizontal column and fluting decorate the frieze panel
