Antique Pair Yorkshire seat Ladderback Chair
FREE DELIVERY TO MOST OF THE U.K.
Yorkshire Pair of Ladderback Chairs - Super Condition - c1790
A pair of Wavy Line ladderback chairs with oak frames in superb order.
The set have been recently professionally re-rushed to a high standard and they offer solid comfortable seating.
The use of Oak & Elm in the construction produces a very solid chair and the design of this duo with robust turned parts and the quality 'wavy line' inherent within the back-rails is very much typical of a Yorkshire piece at the time.
With pad foot to the front and a pleasingly turned front stretcher they offer classic appeal and will sit well either as stand-alone feature chairs or in a kitchen dining environment. The 43cm seat height means that they are suitable as daily use pieces if required.
Overall an excellent pair of 18th century chairs and wonderfully comfortable too.
