A wonderful quality 19th century Victorian gilded gilt wood oval wall mirror. This looking glass is water gilded in 24ct gold leaf and this English mirror retains its original back boards and silver mercury backed plate with the desirable sparkly glass. The top and base are surmounted by pierced foliate detailing to add to the overall look. Circa 1850. Excellent condition. Measures 47"h x 31"w (plate 31" x 25")
