A rare and magnificent Victorian figural inkwell cast in bronze in the form of a bird with her young look carefully around the back of her, with a tiny chick under wing. All have wonderful little glass eyes.

Cast in bronze, the group has a fabulous antique patination. The hinged lid opens to reveal the glass liner within.

Victorian in era dating to c.1880, this is real gem for any collector. Excellent condition measuring 4" x 3" x 2 1/2" tall.
