A beautifully carved Black Forest inkwell dating to the late Victorian era, around 1890, retaining his two original glass eyes. The hinged lid opens to reveal the original ceramic ink chamber within. A real canine beauty in excellent condition. 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" x 4" tall.
