This is a richly coloured Persian carpet runner which dates from around the early 20th century. The indigo field has seven polychrome hexagonal lozenges in lovely autumnal shades and is framed by stylised flowerhead borders. The carpet is in excellent order. It is a really good size measuring 505 cms by 105 cms.
