A lovely antique games table. We date this table to the early 20th Century.

This lovely envelope games table sits on four carved Queen Anne legs with ball and claw feet. The table top has a lovely decorative carved edge.

The table top rotates before opening the four brass hinged triangular envelope flaps to reveal a green baize surface and four dished compartments. There is a drawer below fitted with brass swan neck handles mounted on decorative backplates.

The table has a height of 29.5" (75cm) with a width and depth of 23" (59cm), when the table is open it extends to a width and depth of 32.5” (83cm).

This lovely games table remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some minor marks and indentations to the top surface. The green baize has wear to some edges and there is a cross mark where the envelope top opens. The drop part of the drawer handles have been later added.

This remains a very stylish and elegant games table. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
