A superb quality Louis XV style turnover top card table in beautiful polished walnut with good quality ormolu mounts and sabots. The fine table has very elegant proportions with a really good shape on cabriole legs. The walnut is attractively inlaid with rosewood crossbanding and boxwood stringing and the rotating top opens to a red baize lining. The table is in remarkably clean condition with a most pleasing patina. The table dates from around 1890 and measures 89 cms wide 47 cms deep and 74 cms high. (89 cms by 92 cms opened surface)
