This hugely attractive William IV period English side chair offers classic style and is presented in very good antique condition.
It will serve wonderfully as an office chair, study seat or hallway feature piece.
A well proportioned and classically styled chair with seat upholstered with original quality buttoned leather hide.
The chair is a quality example with a strong mahogany frame presenting a pleasing supportive back with hand carved decorative strut caps and wonderfully wide curved top rail.
Riding upon desirable reeded front legs under a straight front rail with moulded edge.
The supportive seat offers a rewarding seating experience with the useful seat height of 47cm (18.5") and a generous width of 49cm (19.3") creating a comfortable seating position.
