THE LOVELY MID BLUE FIELD WITH THREE CENTRAL IRREGULAR STEPPED HEXAGONAL MEDALLIONS.
THE FIELD FILLED WITH EARLIER TRIBAL MOTIFS INCLUDING THE PECKING CHICKENS,TWO-HEADED ANIMALS WITH FLORAL MOTIFS ON THEIR BACKS,BOTEHS,TRIBAL AND ZOOMORPHIC INTERESTING ORNAMENTS AND OF PARTICULAR NOTE IS THE SOLE IVORY COLOURED TRIBAL FIGURE HOLDING A PRECIOUS OBJECT TO THE CENTRAL RIGHT SIDE.

HAS SOME MARVELLOUS COLOURS INCLUDING A YELLOW,GREEN AND VARIOUS BLUES. THE DESIGN IS ATYPICAL OF THE ARAB-JABBAREH TRIBE AND IS A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF EARLIER 19TH CENTURY WEAVINGS FROM THIS GROUP WITH RICH COLOURS AND LUSTROUS WOOL. THE DEVIL OF COURSE ALWAYS BEING IN THE LITTLE DETAILS.
