This is a very attractive Kashgai rug of unusual design, dating from early the 20th century. The rug, from south-west Persia has both stylised animals and plants within its design and has a pretty colour palette of pinks and reds. It has some slight overall wear bearing in mind its age but is generally in good useable condition. The carpet measures 125cms by 160 cms.
