Antique Jamaican Colonial Planters Chair
An incredibly rare mid 19th century Jamaican Colonial Planters Chair or Campeche Chair with reclining sling seat, uniquely contoured arms and distinctive panel back headrest.
The piece is crafted from Jamaican mahogany with inlaid rosewood detail, raised on turned front legs and arm supports, upholstered in a fine woven fabric with button back detail.
Very good condition, structurally all solid with some attractive aged surface wear and patina.
