A superb and eye catching antique jade brooch pin with 9ct yellow gold overlay.
The genuine jade stone is a single oblong with rounded surface to the upper side.
It features a feather design wreath in the centre with the words KIA OBA."Kia-Ora" translates to "Be well/healthy" and is used as a greeting in the New Zealand English language.
The ends of the brooch are finished with beautiful gold ornate caps with engraved flowers and scroll detail and finished with a gold ball.
The brooch is hallmarked for gold quality on the reverse.

Condition - This antique piece is in very good and clean condition. The pin is firm and slots neatly into the catch.

Dimensions - 6.9 x 1.4 cm
