A charming and unusual piece of hand-crafted antique jewellery. The only one I've seen like it.

A hand-crafted gold mosaic pendant. The surface of the flattened spherical pendant (has been finely decorated with gold cloisons of various shapes into which micromosaic hardstones just possibly glass or ceramics) of various colours have been fitted. The decoration is mounted on a gold bead foot and scalloped-edged top-mount with unsealed gold jump-ring. There are no legible marks. The jump ring does seem to have a worn/misstruck control mark of some sort. In any case, this may not be original to the pendant (but the colour of the gold matches well). Difficult to date, but I'm sure this is at least a hundred years old. I've called it Indo-Persian, because it is similar to quality craftsmanship from that part of the world, but I'll happily stand corrected and would welcome any input on this piece. Overall 28x18x10mm.

There are losses to the decoration, quite clear in the photographs, but not usually apparent in normal use.
I trade in small silver, jewellery and objets d'art. I sell primarily at antiques fairs and in cabinets in Christique Antique Centre in Dorking. I try to find unusual and interesting stock and like to keep turning it over, so I can buy more. Postage and packing are free within the UK - unless explicitly stated otherwise. I keep hardly any stock at home, if you want to buy something and need it urgently, I will usually do it the next day, but it may take me some time to respond if you need extra photographs and/or details about the piece that I do not have to hand, as I typically visit the antiques centre just once a week.
