This is a charming set of four hand coloured stipple engravings from around 1800. The engravings depict the four seasons personified as beautiful ladies and were engraved by Francesco Bartolozzi, engraver to the King, after a painting By R. Westall. The engravings are all in good condition and are attractively mounted on a pale duck egg blue and framed in a slim gilt frame which suits them well. Frames measure 27 cms by 23 cms.
