An antique girandole mirror, circa 1800.

A beautiful example, this wall mirror is framed in giltwood and gesso, the moulding around the mirror displaying a garland of foliate detail sweeping back to the beaded edge against the wall.

The upper appliqué of swirling foliate branches flank a central rosette

The bottom of the mirror has a triple entwined stemmed girandole.

A stunning mirror measuring approx 132 in height by width approx 80cm
