An antique Georgian mahogany and parcel gilt fretwork framed wall mirror. The scroll pediment with a pierced roundel ho-ho bird, the rectangular bevelled mirror plate with moulded surround and cusped upper corners. A pretty eighteenth century example with attractive patina and typical old repairs to the vulnerable fret dating from circa 1780.

Marks and scuffs commensurate with age. Some slight foxing in places and a few scratches to mirror glass. Old repairs to the sections of fretwork either side of top.
