Antique Georgian Inlaid Mahogany Mirror
A beautiful and rare original Georgian period mirror in mahogany. This was made in England, and I would date it from around the 1790-1810 period.
It is a lovely size and is of great quality. The mahogany frame is beautifully shaped, with fine inlay, carving and gilt wood beading.
The oval inset mirror has some slight distressing to the silvered backing, giving this extra character and charm.
Overall this is in very good condition for its age, with only some very minor age related wear and no real damage.
Width – 24 inches , 61 cm
