This is an attractive French 19th century mirror with unusual narrow proportions. The mirror is a good height at 158 cms but is only 86 cms in width so would make a great floor standing mirror or look impressive above a narrow hall table. The frame has its original gilding which is attractively rubbed back showing the warm red oxide beneath glowing through. This has its original mercury plate in good clean condition and it’s original backboards.
