This antique prayer chair has a unique French Country style with much charm that adds character to any room. Made of sturdy fruitwood this has a beautiful colour and patina and retains its original rush woven seat in good useable condition. The novel piece has a lift up action to allow kneeling for prayer on the upholstered under tier. The wide flat back rest has the original owners name hand painted “Mme M ma Lavedan”

Its design is perfect as a conversation piece and can add warmth and charm to any space. The chair is ideal for anyone looking for a vintage piece with character and history.
