Antique French Carved Walnut & Needlepoint Chairs
Pair of antique French salon armchairs with the original needlepoint upholstery on solid walnut carved frames. These armchairs are in good condition & they are very sturdy. The needlepoint is in excellent condition & there are no rips or tears. It's hard to date these chairs exactly, but I would say they date from around the 1910 period. The original fabric is all hand tacked & the seats are still firm.
Width - 23.5", 60 cm
Depth - 23.5", 60 cm
Height - 37.5", 95 cm
Seat height - 16.5", 42 cm
