This is a good French arched gilt mirror of unusual narrow proportions dating from around 1860.

The gilding has a really lovely look which is slightly rubbed back showing the red oxide glow through.

This is a great size for a floor standing bedroom mirror or would make a very nice pier glass or hall mirror above a console.

The mirror plate is the original 19th century glass in really good order and the mirror retains its original back boards.

The frame measures 140 cms by 74 cms.
