Antique swivel top, fold over card table in burr walnut veneer.

Dating from the middle of the Victorian period, circa 1870, this striking piece is in excellent condition throughout. When unfolded this fine
example sports a green baize playing surface with leather edge trim embossed with a golden foliate frieze.

Raised on robust, turned and fluted dual columns at each end, united by a turned central stretcher, the whole sits upon swept legs decorated with
carved acanthus leaves and rides upon the original porcelain casters.

A fine example that works equally well as a hall, lamp or side table. Superb quality and a stunning piece presented in excellent antique condition.
