This is an antique, Edwardian, fold-over card table dating to c.1910.

Raised on slender, tapering cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, the upper shaped brackets support the serpentine frieze detailed with lower edge moulding in contrasting tone.

Throughout, the walnut displays well and is of consistent colour, the top fan book matched with good grain detail and finish, edged with a subtle string detail.

The centre rear leg withdraws with a hidden card drawer to support the fold over top. Lifting on the original, quality, brass hinging the inside is baized with tooled perimeter.

Good proportions and finish, solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
