This is an antique fold over games table bearing the name Edwards & Roberts, an English, mahogany piece from the 19th century circa 1880.
Of quality craftsmanship in a dark mahogany
In good proportion and displaying desirable aged patina
Decorated with blind fret decoration in geometric patterns
Pierced fretwork bracketing beneath the delicate frieze
Standing upon tapering square section legs
United by a lower, ripple-edged gallery tier
The top opening with a smooth swivel and fold action
Storage recess beneath the original baize surface
