A sensational heavy cast brass or bronze inkwell beautifully cast in the form of an Owl, retaining his wonderful original glass eyes, undamaged, the Owl sits on a naturalistic tree branch

The hinged lid is in perfect working order and opens to reveal the removable ceramic ink chamber.

English in origin and dating to around 1880, Victorian in era, this is a rare opportunity to acquire an adorable gem in excellent original condition with it's original antique patina, measuring 5" tall.
