A very handsome and versatile cake stand, rather more unusual as it consists of a pair of pierced, shaped baskets rather than flat plates, making it perfect for a variety of uses.

The sit in a very elegant stand. Excellent condition and dating to c.1900, late Victorian or Edwardian in era. The footprint measures 8" x 6 1/2" and standing 13 1/2" tall each basket has a rim measuring 7" x 6".

Fully marked for the top-notch silversmith, Atkin Brothers.
