Antique English Silver Plated & Gilt Sugar Basket
An absolutely stunning little basket, too good to keep away for special occasions and perfect for chocolates, candy, nuts or even Pot-Pourri.
The frame is silver plated standing on three elegant legs with the top of each having a charming cast figural panel.
The removable liner is washing in gold (gilded) and a fabulous contrast in combination with the silver.
Dating to the Victorian era, around 1860, this gem remains in excellent condition. The rim of the basket measures 3 1/2" in diameter and standing 4" tall or 6 1/4" tall to top of swing handle.
