Dating to around 1890, I haven't had an open salt like this for several years, this Victorian figural silver plated salt is as charming as they get.

The wheels move, to push around the dinner table, the adorable winged cherub is pushing a basket weave wheelbarrow, which is washed in gold / gilded (wear in places to the gold) and has a decorative scythe and ears of wheat sitting inside.

A wonderful piece, in excellent condition. 5" long, the salt measuring 4" at widest x 4 5/8" tall.
