It's lovely to see one of these smaller sized desk-top calendars in Mahogany rather than the usual Oak that this size was more commonly made in. A lovely reddish brown with a bright patina.

The calendar is operated by turning the keys each side to alter the day date and month, the panels protected by a glass front. As smart as they come in excellent polished condition, the footprint measuring 5" x 3" and stands 6 3/4". Late Victorian in era, c.1900.
