A fabulous and unusual figural biscuit box made from a wonderful piece of heavy crystal, beautifully cut.

The top is mounted with a fabulous finial in the from of a Cow which opens the hinged lid.

The crystal barrel sits in it's original silver plated stand with the full makers mark on the underside.

Dating to the late Victorian era, the piece remains in superb condition. The stand has a footprint measuring 7 3/4" foot to foot, The glass box measures 5 1/2" tall and approximately 5 1/2" in diameter the stand and box together measures 7" tall to top of handle.
