A most handsome late Victorian cheese dish and cover in silver plate by the top notch silversmith, Walker & Hall of Sheffield.

Dating to around 1890 / 1900, the tray stands on four original bun feet and the shaped lid having beautiful engraved decoration, a decorative handle and ventilation holes to the top.

There is a full mark on the underside for this prestigious maker remaining in excellent condition. The tray spans 10 1/4" handle to handle and stands 5 1/4" tall to top of cover handle.
