A lovely English Victorian desk-top letter rack or holder, made from solid brass with beautiful reticulated or pierced panels to the front and back featuring a central vacant cartouche crowned by a Lion's head and flanked by Griffin's heads.

Dating to around 1880 it remains in superb condition and beautifully re-polished to gleam. The footprint measures 6" x 4 1/2" and stands 6 1/2" tall to top of handle.
