A really charming antique figural inkwell cast in brass with wonderful detail and sporting his two glass eyes.

It's a rather unusual configuration with the nose lifting to reveal the specially shaped glass ink chamber. This is accessed from the underside, removable for cleaning.

English in origin and Victorian in era dating to c.1880. Excellent condition measuring 4 1/2" wide (ear to ear) x 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" tall.
