The most sought-after design of basket are those created in the a basketweave design and this is a superb English Victorian example.

Made from EPNS (Electro-Plated Nickel Silver) the rim of the basket is finished with a wonderful platted rim and topped with a twisted folding handle.

Victorian in era, it dates to around 1880 and in excellent condition. A heavy good quality piece, perfect to serve almost anything bread, cookies, cakes, fruit.

10" x 7 1/2" x 7 1/4" tall to top of handle.
