A stunning late Victorian silver plated biscuit box with an automated lid push the handle one way and one of the side lids open, push it the other way and the other lid lifts.

A lovely shape standing on four very elegant feet and the body with an engraved decoration.

The underside is fully marked with the makers mark which I haven't identified, it is also marked Sheffield and the number 58 inside a shield.

Late Victorian in era dating to c.1890 excellent condition measuring 8" x 5 1/4" x 9 1/2" tall to top of handle.
